My dad has chronic kidney disease and undergoes dialysis 3 times a week. His permacath got contaminated and it needs replacing. The permacath on his chest is what dialysis nurses use for his treatment. The surgery needed for replacing this costs around £2700 or PHP 200,000. My sisters and I are contributing as well but we will not be able to raise funds quickly with just us.
